Involve yourself!
At many churches, members and attenders are encouraged to become involved in ministry, outreach and discipleship opportunities offered through and coordinated by the church itself. That's good, but we believe it's even better when believers engage in ministry wherever, whenever and however God has called them, whether through a local church or other organizations.
At Redemption Church, there are ministries and discipleship opportunities within the church to be involved in and we welcome participation; however, we also support, advocate for and encourage believers' involvement in ministries wherever the call of God places them.
Here are just a few opportunities to be involved in loving God and loving the world in and through Redemption Church (keep checking back... the list keeps growing!):
KidGlow: The Sunday morning nursery ministry for newborns to age 3. Kidsplosion!: Kidsplosion! is the weekly Sunday morning ministry to kids ages 4-9 at Redemption that's offered during the Sunday Celebration Service. Torch/Ignition: Torch and Ignition are the weekly ministries to students ages 10-19 at Redemption. Meeting each Sunday night at 6:30 pm, there's food, fun, giveaways and solid Bible teaching. Torch (10-12) and Ignition (13-19) kickoff together for music, food and fun, then break into their respective groups for study. Don't miss it! Redemption Worship Band: More than a worship band, the Redemption Worship Band seeks to grow a network of worship musicians and worship leaders to bless, encourage and equip believers at new and existing churches. Redemption House: Redemption House is an amazing ministry to women who are seeking to start over after time in jail/prison. It seeks to offer a stable, safe and Christ-centered place where women can learn basic and Biblical skills, and prepare themselves for independent, pro- ductive life. Currently, Redemption House is seeking an appropriate facility through purchase, rental or donation. Service Sunday: A unique outreach and ministry opportunity for all believers, Service Sunday sends the church to the streets each time a fifth Sunday occurs in a month. From gift bags for restaurant servers to water for workers to whatever God calls a believer to do for Him, Service Sunday encourages and supports Christians in being Christ to the world. Read more about it. Your Ministry? What has God called YOU to do? There's room on this page and there's room at Redemption for you!
